My take on MP3-- what's the big deal? As if people haven't been copying cassette tapes for years. Not that two wrongs make right, but I don't think the medium is the problem. Personally, I went a little nuts and bought a 13GB hard drive to house all my CDs in MP3 format. I got all 170+ CDs into 8.5GB of space (roughly 50MB per CD). Now I can take all that and store it on 13 or 14 CDs in MP3 format. It's much easier to carry that way. I just can't wait for a portable CD player that can natively play MP3 music!
