What's new

I have started weaning Seth. I thought I'd let him nurse another six months, but nursing while I'm pregnant has drained me so much. I have been much weaker during this pregnancy.

He's taking it pretty well, although he's not too fond of cow's milk yet, probably because I don't warm it.

Although he cruises holding on, he's not walking. He stands up all on his own. He dives at the floor or the furniture or just the air. It's his game. He does it again and again working his way across the room. When he lands on all fours he gives a little chuckle at this game he has made up.

He likes to crawl under my desk, look back at me and give a little smile. He knows I'll come after him because he intends to turn off my computer. The red light on the extension cord is a beacon. We repositioned the computer to block his path.

His birthday was a few days ago. We will celebrate this Saturday the 13th. We invited friends over who have cared for him in some way, holding him in Sunday morning Bible class, babysitting him.... We'll put cake in front of him, film him attacking it, then get pictures of him dunked in the bath.
