His first traffic violation
I put this under the new baby's entry instead of mine because I attribute these things to my pregnancy with him. Twice today at the same stop sign, I pulled out without really looking for someone at another stop sign. In all fairness, it is a strange intersection and more often than not, there's no one else there. Thankfully, both times I stopped to let them go once I caught sight of them.
Tonight, coming home from conversations with Gail, I apparently stopped at a red light and treated it as a stop sign. My mind was definitely elsewhere. The policeman did not ticket me, and I could tell he was trying to be firm and nice at the same time. I believe he took one look at my belly and believed me when I said I didn't know and didn't mean to run the red light. He got another call and left abrubtly. But this baby is in control in a way Savannah wasn't. It's a different pregnancy in so many ways.
I decided that staying close to home more is not for me, so I'll have to just be very watchful on the roads.
