Reading me
When I read books to Savannah, I occasionally make comments such as, "That chick was really hungry." She knows that my comments are separate from what I'm reading, that they're not in the book, because she always quietly says, "Uh, HUH." but she doesn't do that when I'm reading. No, she can't read yet, but she is hearing the difference in my voice.
