Didn't have to say anything

Savannah knows by now that I don't like loud, sudden noises. Yesterday when she dumped her plastic play dough cookie cutter toys out on the hallway floor, I didn't say anything at all. (Although I definitely noticed it.) She said, "Sorry Mama. That was really loud." I calmly agreed.

This morning she dragged the box of toys out from under the bed and said as she was slowly emptying the box, "I be really quiet." After she quietly emptied the box upside down, she said, "That not loud, Mama."

I was lying on the bed out of breath from the stairs, and I never had to say anything, except, "Good job."
