Her walking experience
Arwen took her first real steps tonight. She let go of the coffee table taking 2 steps to get to me where I was sitting in the floor. It doesn't take much from us. If we smile, clap, laugh, she is proud and very happy with herself. Then the 4 of us got her to do it again, so the attention from everybody made her want to keep going. I'll be interested to know if she will always be that way with praise.
After tucking Seth and Savannah in, we gave Arwen her first sippie cup, that is, not one of Seth's he'd left for her to pick up. After all that, she seemed really daring. Brad and I played with her on the couch. She tried her best to get to the apple I was eating. She never does that even when I eat an apple with her in my arms. A little after that, I saw her throw her head back with the sippie cup in her mouth as if she's figured out gravity! But she had thrown her head back so far, she toppled backwards.
